As a patient of the Division of Thoracic Surgery, there are many departments or areas that you may need to visit for tests, consultations or other reasons. Below is a map and directions to those common locations.
Getting Around the Hospital - Wayfinding Maps App
Use the Brigham Wayfinding Maps app to get detailed walking directions from any outside location or on-campus location right to your appointment. Available online and in the app store, patients and visitors can view step-by-step instructions and navigate between clinics, departments, patient floors, amenities, services, dining, and other locations within the hospital.
Navigate the Brigham Main Campus
Nuclear Medicine
From the 45 Francis Street Entrance
- Take elevators to the right of the Registration Center down two floors to Level L-1.
- As you exit the elevator, turn right and go around the corner. Continue down the hallway until you come to Nuclear Medicine on the left.
CT-Scan on L-1
- Follow above directions to L-1.
- CT-Scan department is just around the corner from the elevator on the left side of the hall.
MRI Associates
From the Thoracic Surgery office
- Turn left onto the Pike (the hallway that runs the length of the hospital).
- MRI Associates is about 50 or 60 feet down the hall on the left.
From the 45 Francis Street entrance
- Turn right on the Pike. The office is about 100 feet down the hall on the right.
- Make sure you enter through the main office entrance which is a bit further down the hall than the staff entrance.
Non-Invasive Cardiology
From the 75 Francis Street Entrance
- Take the elevators to the right of the entrance down 2 floors to L-2.
- As you exit the elevator, turn left. The Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab is directly in front of you.
From the Tower Elevators
- Go to Floor L-2.
- As you exit the elevator, turn left. At the end of the hall, turn right. The lab is directly in front of you.
Outpatient Radiology
From the 45 Francis Street Entrance
- Take the elevators to the right of the Registration Center down two floors to L-1.
- As you exit the elevator, take a right and follow the hallway past CAT Scan and Nuclear Medicine. Outpatient Radiology is on the left.
Ambulatory Radiology
From the 45 Francis Street Entrance
- Take the elevators to the right of the Registration Center down to Floor One.
- As you exit the elevator, go right. Ambulatory Radiology is about 20 feet down the hall on the right.
Pulmonary Function Lab
- Go to the Tower Elevators and take them up to the fourth floor.
- As you exit the elevator, turn right. At the end of the hall, turn right again. The Pulmonary Function Lab is in Pod A.
Admitting Office
Directly in front of you as you enter 75 Francis Street Entrance.
Surgical Liaison
To the left of the Admitting Office at the 75 Francis Street Entrance.
Cafeteria
From the Thoracic Surgery Office
As you exit the elevator, Turn left and go down the Pike. Walk until you see the cafeteria on your right. If you reach the Tower Elevators, you have gone too far.
