Types of reconstructive procedures include:

  • Abdominal wall/ventral hernia repair
    Surgery involving the muscles, fascia, and skin of the abdomen to correct a defect.
  • Chest wall reconstruction
    Repair of the chest wall.
  • Oncological (Cancer) Reconstruction
    Surgery to reconstruct the body following removal/disruption resulting from cancer surgery.
  • Perineal Reconstruction
    Repair of the tissue between the anus and external genitalia.
  • Panniculectomy
    Removal of excess skin of the lower abdomen that is causing a functional impairment.
  • Skin Cancer Treatment (Mohs Surgery)
    Treatment for skin cancer in which layers of skin are progressively removed and examined for cancer cells.
  • Skin Grafts/Flaps
    Using skin and tissue from one area of the body to restore function and appearance to another area of the body.
