Body and Torso Procedures
The board-certified plastic surgeons at the Brigham and Women's Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery take pride in providing exceptional treatment for patients who wish to have cosmetic torso/body procedures. Our surgeons, who are known for their cutting-edge care, are highly skilled in a range of procedures, from the most common to the most complex.
When it comes to caring for your body and your image, our specialists don't believe in a cookie-cutter approach. We spend time with every patient, exploring aesthetic objectives, emotional needs and treatment options. Then, together with you, we create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your preferences.
Our highly trained, deeply experienced specialists perform a full range of torso/body procedures, including:
- Tummy tuck: slims and firms the belly and waist through the surgical removal of fat and skin from the body's midsection and the tightening of muscles in the abdomen.
- Liposuction: uses tiny tubes and/or lasers to remove excess fat deposits located between the skin and muscle of the belly, buttocks, arms, hips or legs.
- Fat grafting: repurposes fat removed during liposuction in other parts of the body; for example, uses fat from the thighs or belly to add volume to the face or breasts.
- Body contouring: removes excess fat or skin from the arms, legs or torso, especially after major weight loss.
- Arm lift: removes excess fat or skin that hangs from the arms.
- Thigh lift:removes excess fat or skin that hangs from the thighs.
- Labiaplasty: trims away excess tissue of external female genitals to relieve discomfort, improve appearance or correct damage caused by childbirth.
- Scar revision: minimizes the noticeability of scars from previous surgeries or injuries.
