The Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital provides expert diagnostic procedures and surgical treatment for routine conditions, chronic diseases and complex cancers. Recognized as one of the top gastroenterology and GI surgery programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report, our board-certified surgeons are international leaders in their respective areas, offering extensive experience and training in colorectal, endocrine, gastric, esophageal, hepatobiliary and bariatric (weight loss) surgery. We offer patients the latest treatment options, frequently incorporating robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgical techniques that hasten recovery and improve outcomes for our patients.
We are the general and gastrointestinal surgical team of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Treatment Center at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, and we train the next generation of surgical leaders through our surgical residency and fellowship programs. As researchers, our surgeons advance the understanding of general and gastrointestinal surgical disease and shape prevention and treatment.
