Comprehensive Foregut Disease Program

At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, we provide expert, multidisciplinary care for patients with diseases of the diaphragm, hiatus, esophagus, stomach, and upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

Our specialized team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, and radiologists have decades of expertise using advanced, minimally invasive surgical and endoscopic techniques. Together, we manage common, rare, and recurrent foregut conditions through close collaboration.

We hold regular multidisciplinary case conferences attended by specialist in GI and thoracic surgery, medical gastroenterology, and radiology. During these sessions, we review complex patient cases and develop personalized, comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
