The IMP genomic analysis team embarked on sequencing the tumor transcriptome to discover new clues about the cause and potential treatments for mesothelioma. A partnership was developed with 454 Inc and NCGR to perfect high through-put sequencing of highly enriched fresh tumor tissues followed by analysis and validation studies. The results of this collaboration are presented in a publication in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and the specialized website accessed through this page contains much of the data displayed for review by the scientific community.
