Episode 1: Is Your Resiliency at Risk? Signs Your Resiliency is Fading and How to Rebuild it

Host: Maddy Pearson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC
Guests: Erin Collier, RN, and Amanda Moment, LICSW

“We pour a tremendous amount of energy into our patients, our colleagues and the profession, and very little is left as a reserve to tend to ourselves. It's been a process to come to see myself and my own needs, and it’s been amazing to watch as I tended to myself how much more of me gets to show up in the caregiving relationship and how much more joy and delight there can be in the profession when I’m part of that equation.” – Erin Collier, RN

Learn how to identify signs that your resiliency is low and what you can do about it in this episode, featuring guests Erin Collier, RN, clinical nurse in Palliative Care, and Amanda Moment, LICSW, of Palliative Care Social Work. Erin and Amanda talk about why practicing self-care is essential for nurses, how it positively impacts others and what their own practices include.
