Kathy is Director of the Dietetic Internship, the Intensive Lifestyle Treatment Program of CWMW, and Nutrition Services at DFCI. She served as co-investigator of the NIH-funded POUNDS (Preventing Overweight Using Novel Dietary Strategies) Lost Study and authored more than 25 publications and book chapters. Kathy currently writes for Harvard Medical School’s Harvard Health Blog. Her mission is to support patients in improving their health. Outside work she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and spending time with family/friends.

Tammy performs all administrative duties and is invaluable in greeting our patients and scheduling their appointments with patience and kindness. She has worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for over 30 years, and with NWS for 20 years. Outside work she enjoys swimming in a pool or ocean and spending time with her three beautiful grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
