The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists at Brigham and Women's Hospital offers compassionate, patient-centered care. Our experts use a team-based approach tailored to each patient's goals. We understand our patients and families have medical, emotional and social needs. We’re dedicated to meeting these needs while educating our patients about the latest treatment options.
Culturally Competent and Comprehensive Care
Our general OB/GYN practice is located at the Brigham Hospital’s main campus in Boston. Through multidisciplinary partnerships, we provide comprehensive and individualized care for our patients throughout their lifetime. We offer the full spectrum of care during the reproductive years (preconception, pregnancy and the postpartum period) through the menopausal transition and beyond. The team members in our practice represent the population we serve, and many of our specialists are multilingual.
Commitment to Equity and Excellence
We provide a safe, respectful, trauma-informed environment with top-tier clinical services. Our holistic and collaborative care is tailored to the communities we serve. Our team is dedicated to helping you achieve your optimal health. Team members include front desk welcome staff, medical assistants, nurses, physician assistants, attendings, fellows, midwives and residents. Some team members have more than 20 years of experience. This means we have provided, and will continue to provide, care to our patients throughout generations. We consistently screen our patients for social determinants of health and identify specific patients’ needs that allow us to provide equity in care.
A Multilingual Care Team
Our team’s core values are rooted in our commitment to provide excellent care to culturally and socio-economically diverse populations. Our staff represents the global community from which our patients come. Clinic staff include individuals fluent in Spanish, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Wolof, Mandarin, Cantonese, Amharic, Tigrigna, Cape Verdean Creole and Swahili.
Education, Training and Mentorship
As a teaching hospital, we provide high-quality OB/GYN care for routine and complex conditions, while training the next generation of OB/GYN physicians. Through our residency and fellowship programs, our obstetricians and gynecologists are faculty members of Harvard Medical School. They coordinate care with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, gynecologic oncologists, genetic counselors, social workers, nursing staff and work closely with our midwives.
Local and International Partnerships
As a central location to receive OB/GYN care with multiple affiliates around Boston, the Brigham is recognized both nationally and internationally for its outstanding level of care. Our clinical and administrative staff work together as one cohesive group to provide the best possible care for each patient. Brigham patients have full access to our world-renowned academic medical center in Boston with its diverse multidisciplinary specialists and state-of-the-art facilities. With research and services designed for patients and their families, our experts provide the most advanced care available. Our international office also helps international patients access care with our providers.
