The Adult Hydrocephalus Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital consists of a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, physical therapists and other professionals who are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of normal pressure hydrocephalus and other disorders of CSF flow. Each patient is carefully evaluated, and a personalized treatment plan is then developed using the most advanced diagnostic and treatment methods.
Our Program is also a world leader in cutting-edge research designed to find better methods for diagnosing and treating these disorders. Staff members are internationally-renowned for hydrocephalus research and have had a number of publications on this topic over the years. Additional basic science, translational and clinical research studies on adult hydrocephalus are currently underway.
