The Bromfield Epilepsy Program offers the full range of medical and surgical treatment options so that we may help patients with even the most complicated, difficult-to-treat conditions, using leading-edge medical expertise combined with state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
Our multidisciplinary team of experts provides care for the whole patient. The goals of treatment are not only to control seizures, but to help the patient and their family cope with the day-to-day challenges to improve quality of life.
We work with the neurologists at Boston Children’s Hospital, so that young adults with epilepsy can have a smooth transition to adult epilepsy care.
Outpatient Services
The Bromfield Epilepsy Program offers outpatient consultations for emotional and psychosocial issues that are common in patients with epilepsy. Our team works closely with referring physicians and other clinicians to provide care continuity.

The Nan Winslow EEG Lab and newly remodeled Epilepsy monitoring unit opened to patients in June of 2022. Nan cut the ribbon on the new unit, named in honor of her. She was as an EEG tech for 40 years with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, some of which she spent as Chief Technologist. Nan was thrilled to see the new unit and be reunited with old friends and colleagues.
