Behavioral Neurology

Focuses on diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurodegenerative diseases and neurobehavioral syndromes that impair cognition and function (e.g., Alzheimer disease, dementia, disorders of cognition, memory attention, and language). Integrates neurologic, medical, and neuropsychological information to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan.

Neuropsychiatry/Geriatric Psychiatry

Evaluates and treats patients with psychiatric and behavioral difficulties due to underlying neurological conditions (e.g., Alzheimer disease, dementia, epilepsy, head injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease). Develops a comprehensive pharmacologic and behavioral intervention plan.
