Cancer neurologists at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are a critical part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists within the Center for Neuro-Oncology at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center. Working together with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, psychiatrists, nurses and social workers, BWH neuro-oncologists are instrumental in providing world-class care for patients with tumors of the nervous system and neurologic complications of systemic cancer.
Led by Patrick Y. Wen, MD, Director, neurologists provide coordinated consultations, treatment and cutting-edge therapy for adult neuro-oncology patients. Our program provides diagnosis and treatment of neurologic complications of cancer and cancer therapies, and prevention of tumor growth and improved tumor response through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
