Support the Lupus Center

The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Lupus Center is committed to providing state of the art, collaborative care to over 900 patients with lupus. We provide expert collaborative clinical care from experienced and dedicated rheumatologists and other medical specialists, who are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus and related conditions. Lupus is a complex, challenging and unpredictable autoimmune disease that predominantly strikes young people ages 15-40, in the prime of life. We aim to diagnose lupus as early as possible and to provide the most advanced, sensitive and evidence-based care for our patients. We are dedicated to researching the genetic, environmental and immunologic causes of lupus, as well as how to prevent and potentially cure this disease.

When you make a gift to the BWH Lupus Center you enable our clinicians and researchers to continue to provide comprehensive, leading-edge care. Gifts from our alumni, patients and friends, and institutional donors help us to educate our staff in the latest techniques, to make advances in patient diagnosis and treatment through research, and to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, locally, nationally and internationally.
