SJPHC works through the efforts of over 100 primary care doctors and specialists, nurses, medical assistants, practice secretaries, administrators, financial counselors, medical records specialists, administrators, case managers, community resource specialists, midwives, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, administrative assistants, nutritionists, laboratory staff, WIC program assistants, domestic violence advocates, housing counselors, doulas, instructors of yoga, karate, zumba, dance, and senior exercises, high school students, college students, graduate students, AmeriCorps members, medical students, social work students, psychology students, custodians and maintenance staff, and more.
Almost all the staff members are bilingual in English and Spanish. Together, they provide the complex and varied group of services and relationships that make up a community health center.
