The Pediatric Department at Brookside Community Health Center offers medical care to children from newborn up to 18 years of age.* By providing patient/family-centered care, the care team works to develop lifelong partnerships between our providers, our staff, our patients and their families. Our care teams consist of primary care providers, RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and Practice Assistants to provide comprehensive care.
Population health managers, community resource specialists and a pulmonologist, collaborate with our care teams to support our patients. Patients receive care during face to face visits with providers, RNs, and LPNs; Home care advice and care coordination are provided through telephone triage and support; and on the internet portal called Patient Gateway. We take pride in providing high quality medical care for the children of Boston in a friendly, family-centered environment.
Our family medicine physicians and nurse practitioner also work with pediatric and adolescent patients to help adolescents transition to adult medicine. You can find more information on the Family Medical Department page.
* Note: At this time, Brookside Community Health Center is temporarily only accepting newborn patients. Please check back later this year as we plan to expand our availability.
