The Endoscopy Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) features a team of dedicated clinicians who provide advanced endoscopy services focused on developing and delivering interventional treatments for: biliary and pancreatic diseases, post-surgical complications, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett’s esophagus with dysplasia, bariatric conditions, removal of large polyps, Zenker’s diverticulum, and blockages throughout the digestive tract. The team’s experience and expertise in providing innovative endoscopy treatments have helped the Center become one of only 17 endoscopy programs in the world to be named a Center of Excellence by the World Organization of Digestive Endoscopy.
Our Advanced Endoscopy Services
Our advanced endoscopy team provides a wide spectrum of advanced endoscopy services, including: endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) to obtain images and information about the digestive tract; endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to treat biliary and pancreatic diseases; endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) to remove abnormal growths in the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and colon; and deep enteroscopy to evaluate and treat small intestine disorders that involve bleeding.
