The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) uses non-surgical methods to diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, biliary system and liver.
Led by David E. Cohen, MD, PhD, our robust team of gastroenterologists and endoscopists are board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology with advanced fellowship training in gastroenterology, including endoscopic techniques. Our physician specialists use conventional and state-of-the-art approaches to diagnose and manage a range of common and complex diseases – from acid reflux disease to inflammatory bowel disease to esophageal, pancreatic and liver conditions and cancers.
The Crohn’s and Colitis Center brings together clinicians from multiple specialties to care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
Our Endoscopy Center led by Linda S. Lee, MD provides advanced endoscopy services including endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic mucosal resection.
The Onco-Gastroenterology Program cares for cancer patients who have a history of gastrointestinal disease or are experiencing gastrointestinal complications of anti-cancer treatment.
The Center for Pancreatic Disease provides a multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and care of patients with pancreatic disorders
