The Mass General Brigham (MGB) Complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Fellowship is a one-year, non-ACGME-accredited fellowship designed to provide the foundation for a trainee to embark on a successful career in interventional cardiology with a specific focus on complex, high-risk, and chronic total occlusion (CTO) coronary PCI.
The integrated MGB Complex PCI fellowship is led by co-directors Farouc Jaffer, MD, PhD, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Kevin Croce, MD, PhD, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). The assistant fellowship directors are Darshan Doshi MD and Brian Bergmark MD. The complex PCI fellows rotate quarterly through clinical rotations at MGH and BWH. Fellows gain experience in complex and high-risk PCI, CTO PCI, and advanced hemodynamic support. Additionally, fellows participate in clinical and translational cardiovascular research working with accomplished faculty at both institutions.
