As part of the Heart & Vascular Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), our cardiologists and interventional cardiologists work alongside experts from cardiac surgery, vascular and endovascular surgery, radiology and nursing inside BWH’s state-of-the-art Shapiro Cardiovascular Center. Integrating all cardiovascular services in one center makes scheduling appointments easier and enables a constant flow of communication among multiple specialists, together with the patient, the patient’s family, and the referring physician.
Our Shapiro Cardiovascular Center offers spacious and private inpatient rooms and comfortable waiting areas for families. We typically coordinate outpatient visits so that patients are seen by several heart and vascular specialists the same day. For patients with concurrent health issues, the full array of services and specialists at Brigham and Women’s Hospital are easily accessible.
