Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a NICHE member hospital, committed to patient-centered care for our older adults and their families.
NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) is a national organization through the New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. The organization’s mission is to create age-friendly health care services for older adults in the U.S.
The Brigham Department of Nursing is proud to be a NICHE member organization, which indicates our resolve to provide patient-centered care for older adults.
Through our participation in NICHE – the largest geriatric nursing program available – we offer evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches that promote positive experiences for the older adults in our care. This results in improved outcomes and greater patient and family satisfaction.
