The Pulmonary Program at Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center (22 Patriot Place, Foxborough) provides consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for the entire spectrum of respiratory diseases including:
- asthma
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- lung nodules
- interstitial lung diseases, including sarcoidosis
A key service provided by the Pulmonary Program is on-site pulmonary function testing (PFTs), which helps us to diagnose lung disorders, develop an appropriate treatment plan and monitor our patients' response to therapy. We also serve as a link to the Brigham and Women's Hospital's Pulmonary Transplant and Lung Cancer programs, and the new comprehensive multidisciplinary Pulmonary Vascular Disease and Dyspnea (labored breathing) Evaluation Program, combining the specialties of cardiology, pulmonary and radiology. The Pulmonary Vascular Disease and Dyspnea Evaluation Program, including cardiopulmonary testing, provides complete evaluation and treatment options for patients with unexplained dyspnea and exercise or functional limitation.
As a part of the Partner's Asthma Center, we also provide our patients with peak flow meters and educational materials that help patients identify and monitor changes in lung function.
