The Division promotes the active participation and professional development of faculty and staff with interests in global emergency medicine and humanitarian assistance. Additionally, the Division serves as the conduit for collaborative relationships between the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and Harvard Affiliated Medical Institutions.
Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) HHI is the center of humanitarian research and outreach at Harvard University. HHI coordinates humanitarian programs for the Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Radcliffe Institute, Harvard Business School, Kennedy School of Government and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
International Emergency Department Leadership Institute (IEDLI) IEDLI is an educational initiative sponsored by the emergency department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital that provides leadership education for current and future healthcare leaders in emergency departments worldwide.
