The Volunteer Services Office is always looking to open new placements in the hospital for volunteers. If you are interested in placing volunteers in your department, please complete the following forms and submit them to Volunteer Coordinator Amy Almeida.
Please keep in mind- all volunteers must be 16 years of age to become a Brigham and Women's Hospital volunteer and are asked to make a commitment of at least six months, completing at least one 3-hour shift a week. They must also attend volunteer orientation, which is held on a monthly basis.
If you are interested in onboarding a volunteer for a specific project or role that will be less than 6 months’ time, we may be able to onboard them as a pre-placed volunteer in your department as long as their duties are in line with other volunteer roles and their hours do not exceed more than 10 hours per week.
