Developed in partnership with Statista, the World's Best Hospitals 2024 list recognizes the best medical institutions across 30 countries. Rankings are based on peer recommendations from more than 80,000 medical professionals, patient experience surveys, and medical key performance indicators such as patient safety, hygiene measures and quality of treatment. The U.S. list ranks the country's top 420 hospitals, and the global list ranks the world's top 250.
