Robert Green, MD, MPH, of the Division of Genetics, was included in BIS Research and Insight Monk’s Top 25 Voices in Precision Medicine for his work on medical genetics and genomics. Green, a medical geneticist and physician-scientist who directs the G2P Research Program at the Brigham, Harvard Medical School and Broad Institute, led the first National Institutes of Health-funded randomized trials of genomic sequencing, disclosing genetic disease risks to apparently healthy individuals as well as infants. Having authored over 300 papers, he is striving to accelerate the worldwide implementation of medical genomics. In addition to his work at the Brigham, he serves as associate director for Research at Partners HealthCare’s Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine.
