The Pituitary and Neuroendocrine Center was honored by the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) as a 2021 Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction in recognition of the center’s highly collaborative model for delivering complex care.
The NASBS Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction title, formerly known as the NASBS Team Honor Roll program, is awarded to member institutions that have multidisciplinary skull-base surgery teams that include physicians in a variety of specialties. Recognition as a Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction is based upon meeting NASBS’ criteria and may not be construed as a medical referral.
Directed by Edward Laws, MD, the Pituitary and Neuroendocrine Center at the Brigham is a patient-focused, multidisciplinary program that offers both medical and surgical management of pituitary disorders. Within the center, there are physicians from a wide range of disciplines, including experts in neurosurgery, endocrinology, otorhinolaryngology, neuroradiology, neuropathology, neuro-ophthalmology, Neuro-Oncology, skull base surgery and related research.
