Daniel Morash, MBA, is chief financial officer and senior vice president of Finance. In this role, Morash manages the finance departments for Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization and Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. Morash collaborates with hospital departments and works on behalf of the hospital to create financial strategies and to respond to financial and strategic issues. He has worked at Mass General Brigham for more than nine years and brings extensive experience and knowledge of hospital operations and finance to his role at the Brigham.
Prior to his current role, Morash served as the chief financial officer and senior vice president of the Mass General Physicians Organization. He also served as the executive director of the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at MGH from 2012 until 2017, managing all operational and financial issues for the department.
Morash earned his bachelor's degree from Amherst College and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He started his career at Bain & Company in 2004 as an associate consultant, and returned after graduate school in 2010 as a consultant. From 2017 to 2020, he served as chief financial officer and vice president of the Tufts Medical Center Physicians Organization.
