Paycheck
Your offer letter indicated how often you will be paid. Most employees are paid weekly on Thursday for hours worked in the previous week. BWH has a “paperless” payment system, by which employees receive their pay electronically, with exceptions granted as needed. To set up your direct deposit, so that your pay goes directly to the bank or investment account you specify, please go to PeopleSoft, BWH’s self-service human resources information system. You can also contact the PHS Central Payroll department for help at 617-726-2148.
You can view your paycheck online through PeopleSoft using a PC at work or at home. To view your paycheck, use this link, which will take you directly to the page after you log into Peoplesoft. You will be able to save this page to your favorites to view your checks weekly and up to two days before your check is deposited to your account!
If you are a weekly paid employee, your paycheck will be available online on the Tuesday before your check's issuance. In addition to showing your net pay, your electronic paycheck includes your accrued Benefit Time (BT), or paid time off; your pre-tax benefit deductions; and your pay distribution to your direct deposit account(s). Your BT balance can be found in the bottom right hand corner of your paycheck in PeopleSoft, but please note that you may not view your accrued BT balance until you have been employed at BWH for 90 days. For any addition Payroll questions, please see the Payroll FAQ Page.
