BWHC LGBT & Allies ERG Chair
Pothik Chatterjee is Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development at Brigham & Women’s Physicians Organization (BWPO). He joined the LGBT & Allies Employee Resource Group when he joined BWH as a Manager of Innovation Strategy at Brigham Innovation Hub. He looks forward to promoting a welcoming and affirming environment for LGBT employees, patients, families and friends and providing advocacy and support around LGBT healthcare-related issues. Outside of BWH, Pothik organized the first LGBT-focused panel as part of the Harvard India Conference in 2014. Pothik has volunteered with Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP) with a focus on the immigrant South Asian LGBT community in Toronto, Canada. Pothik received his MBA from Harvard Business School, MA from Johns Hopkins University SAIS and has a BS in International Economics from Georgetown University.

Meredith is the Associate Librarian at BWH. She received her B.S. at Portland State University (2003) and her MLS from Emporia State University (2006). She was a National Library of Medicine Associate Fellow from 2006-2007. She serves on the LGBT Employee Resource Group Board as the Publicity & Communications Chair. Meredith recently moved to Boston after living and working in Worcester at UMass Med for the past 3 years. She is looking forward to getting to know Boston, her new home.

Meghan Doherty is a social worker at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital where she provides clinical services to adults and families on the inpatient psychiatric unit. Prior to graduating with her MSW from Smith College School of Social Work in 2014, she provided counseling services to transgender and gender-expansive teens in San Francisco. She is excited to join the LGBT Employee Resource Group as the Education and Advocacy Chair and contribute to addressing systemic inequalities in healthcare for LGBTQ patients.
