For Patients
Patients seeking information about the hospital, or wishing to schedule an appointment with a BWH physician, should call the Patient Referral Service number: 1-800-294-9999. This number is staffed 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Patient referral representatives can help patients choose an appropriate physician and then schedule an initial appointment with that physician. For your convenience, bilingual patient referral representatives are on staff.

Most radiology exams require a referral from a physician and that the physician's office call to make the initial appointment. Once the initial appointment is made, however, patients can call Radiology Scheduling to reschedule as needed. For Mammograms, patients may call to make their own appointments.
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays)
When the office is closed, leave a messsage and your call will be returned the following business morning.
Partners Online Specialty Consultations
In most states and countries, patients in collaboration with their physicians can arrange remote, secure and confidential specialty consultations through Partners Online Specialty Consultations Service.
Radiology Films and Medical Records
Requests for Medical Records should be directed to the Health Information Services department. To request copies of radiology films, please call the Film Library/Image Service Center at 617-732-7180.
For Physicians
To reach a physician at BWH, or to receive additional information about the hospital's services, call the toll-free Physician Referral Service number: 1-800-MD to BWH (1-800-638-6294). This number is staffed 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. A representative can direct you to the physician with whom you wish to speak, as well as facilitate consultations and second opinions. Extended service coverage is anticipated; until that time, after hours, you may leave a voicemail message, and your call will be returned promptly.

The Radiology scheduling office is open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There is voice mail when the office is closed and messages will be returned the following business morning.
Percipio is the Department of Radiology's on-line scheduling system Percipio is a new program that is gradually expanding to physician practices. Percipio promises to bring our scheduling capabilities well into the 21st century. To schedule a procedure by the CSIR team, under CT or Ultrasound guidance, physicians should request a procedure in Percipio, and contact one of our CSIR coordinators: Tel: 617-732-7785.
