The Department of Orthopedic Surgery has a long history in the forefront of joint replacement surgery, including the design of implants. We provide diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system - the bones and joints of the arms, legs, spine and related structures such as nerves, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.
Services are offered in adult reconstruction, including total hip, knee, elbow and shoulder replacement; cartilage repair, microvascular hand and upper extremity surgery, foot and ankle surgery, podiatry, orthopedic trauma, treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and sports medicine, including acute sports injuries and rehabilitation.
