Therapeutics Group

Our therapeutics group in the Center for Arthritis and Joint Diseases has an international reputation for evaluation of new treatments for rheumatic disease. The group's major interest is in therapies for rheumatoid arthritis. This group has extensively evaluated many of the major therapies used in the treatment of the disease including methotrexate, cyclosporin A, leflunomide, combination therapies and new biologics including TNF inhibitors. The group has a very active clinical trials program and is at the forefront of studying new therapies for rheumatoid arthritis.
