Brigham and Women's Primary Care Associates of Brookline provides a full range of adult health services – from routine examinations and screenings to urgent care, complex diagnostic evaluation, treatment and referral. Located just outside Brookline Village, our office is accessible by the MBTA Green Line Riverside (D) and Health Street (E) branches and several bus routes, including the #39 and #66 and there is a parking garage plus on-street parking nearby. The office is wheelchair-accessible. Some of our physicians offer early morning appointments, and the practice provides 24-hour telephonic coverage seven-days-a-week.
Our healthcare team also includes registered nurses, a nurse care manager and a social worker, as well as a consulting psychiatrist. Your PCP will include any of these team members as they see appropriate. Access to this multidisciplinary team ensures a holistic care approach, including addressing your behavioral health needs.
When inpatient care is required, patients may be admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital or Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. All our physicians are board-certified in Internal Medicine and are on the faculty of Harvard Medical School.
Please call us or use Patient Gateway to schedule an appointment. We request that you call as early in the day as possible for us to do our best to offer a same-day appointment. We will try to schedule you with your primary care provider or another member of the team. Please provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If the emergency is not life-threatening, please call us before going to the emergency room to see if we can help you with medical advice first.
Urgent or sick calls are returned as soon as possible. Most phone calls are returned by the end of the day. Requests for clinical advice are frequently sent to the nurse on your team. The nurse will call you back to answer your clinical questions in consultation with your provider and can help you decide if you need to come for a visit. Messages that are not urgent may be returned the next business day.
PCA of Brookline makes same-day appointments available to patients for both urgent and routine care. Urgent care includes new distressing symptoms/signs such as burning urine, tick bites, sore throat, sinus congestion, chest pain, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, headaches, rashes, and coughs.
