Dr. Stoffel graduated from the Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2003 following completion of her internship and residency at the same institution. During her fellowship, she also received a Master's in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Stoffel joined the faculty of Brigham and Women's Hospital in September 2004. Her interest is hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes and her clinical research examines use of screening and genetic testing among individuals at high risk for colorectal cancer. She was recently awarded an American College of Gastroenterology Junior Faculty Career Development Award.
