Patient Access Services (sometimes referred to as Admitting or Bed Management) helps patients:
- Plan for all aspects of their hospital stay
- Address questions/concerns regarding their admission/stay
- Make financial arrangements and address health insurance questions/concerns
- Receive HIPAA (privacy) notices
- Arrange advance care directives, including living wills
- Obtain patient information brochures
- Arrange for private rooms (including the Shapiro Pavilion)
