For some procedures, you may be admitted to the hospital prior to the day the procedure takes place.
The morning of surgery, the following will take place:

You will be awakened early enough to wash, empty your bladder and change into a hospital gown.

Your valuables will be carefully locked in the cashier's office.

You also may receive one to two injections that will make you drowsy and relaxed. Do not try to get up without help after these injections.
