Vascular disease occurs when there is a problem with the blood circulation in either the arteries (blood vessels carrying blood away from the heart), veins (blood vessels carrying blood to the heart), or lymph vessels. There are many different types of vascular disease. Symptoms of vascular disease vary, depending on which blood vessels are affected.
