Clinical research for the Cardiovascular Genetics Center focuses on investigating the full range of manifestations of HCM caused by sarcomere mutations. We hope to better understand the early stages of HCM to ultimately determine how to prevent disease progression and development.
In addition, the Seidman Laboratory, led by Drs. Christine and Jonathan Seidman, has been at the forefront of research into the molecular basis of inherited cardiovascular disorders for more than a decade.
