Biostatistics support is available to investigators in the Brigham and Women's research community for statistical consulting on issues such as study design and data analysis for manuscripts and grant applications. Resources are limited, so planning ahead is essential. The Biostatistics Consulting Service is part of the Biostatistics Core of the Center for Clinical Investigation.
FEE STRUCTURE
Funding is required for everything except the initial half-hour phone consultation and grants. Your grant must specify no less than .05 FTE from the CCI Biostatistics Core to account for eventual analysis. All other work will incur a fee of $100/hr.
Your biostatistician will give you a time estimate after learning about the project. Historically, abstracts have averaged 15-25 hours, manuscripts have averaged 20-60 hours, and grants have averaged 15-40 hours.
